Four desks.
One file.

Licences, metals, agricultural products and passage — written as a single sequence from titled ground to a named flight. Air is the usual mode. Pick a desk, or start with the mandate.

Wax-sealed legal files. 01 · Licences

01 — Licences

Mining title in precious metals, including the DRC.

We take a project from ground to a licence a ministry will actually read. Local structure, statutory filings, export permissions, and the paper trail that keeps title from becoming a dispute two years later.

  • Prospecting, mining and export licensing
  • DRC and East African title architecture
  • Local participation and statutory sequence
  • The file assembled for ministry, bank and offtaker

02 — Metals

Physical offtake. Origin before the flight.

Gold, copper cathodes, silver, coltan and tantalite, aluminium ingots, used rail. We source, diligence and move cargo. Air is the usual mode. Unnamed lots are not a mandate we will hold.

  • Gold dore and refined, with chain of custody
  • Copper cathodes and industrial lots
  • Coltan / tantalite under title and origin
  • Aluminium ingots and used rail for export

Coffee, tea, sisal and white sugar. The working Incoterm is CIF. FOB is written where the buyer takes the aircraft. Grade, contract and the air file are assembled so a lot does not become a claim at JKIA, Entebbe or Kigali.

  • Coffee: CIF or FOB, air freight as standard
  • Tea: CIF first, FOB on instruction
  • Sisal fibre offtake and export documents
  • White sugar, bulk and bagged, CIF or FOB

Cost, insurance and freight to the named airport. We write the aircraft. This is how most agricultural lots leave.

  • Insurance written through to the gate
  • Air waybill in the same file as origin and grade

On instruction

Free on board at the named airport. The buyer takes the aircraft from JKIA, Entebbe, Kigali or the gate written in.

  • Buyer nominates the flight
  • Origin, packing and customs still sit on this desk
  • Same diligence as CIF

Air first. Sea where the lot requires it.

Air freight East African airports Sea as exception

Most cargo we move leaves by air. The file names the airport (JKIA, Entebbe, Kigali, Julius Nyerere, Juba, Goma, Lubumbashi, Bujumbura) with CIF or FOB written in. Mombasa and Dar es Salaam are used when the lot cannot fly. Customs and the border sit in the same document as the airway bill.

  • Air freight as the working mode across East Africa
  • Ten airports: JKIA, Moi, Entebbe, JNIA, Kilimanjaro, Juba, Kigali, Bujumbura, Goma, Lubumbashi
  • Sea, Mombasa and Dar, only if the cargo cannot fly
  • Used rail and heavy industrial lots under the same counsel

02 Source

Name the lot

Offtake, counterparties, origin. The lot is named before the flight.

03 Diligence
